Not the only one at all. Indeed, I was already at the Goblin Market place with Francis Ford Coppola's Lucy and Mina, and had been since the damn thing came OUT, so it carried over very easily.

I only had the PING last night before the ep aired, but it PINGed very loudly indeed. (There aren't so many well and truly motherlodes for incestuous Victorian creepy lesbianism that I feel any better about the lateness of the PING, though.)

When I read the prompt, I made a tumblr post that just said "brb re-reading Goblin Market and Carmilla so I can write Vanessa/Mina fic." If the show makes generous use of literary references, I figure so can I!

I'm not even sure I HAVE an endgame pairing for this show, though I can happily support V/Mina. I'm mostly along for the cracktastic ride, and marveling at a Dorian Gray who cares about consent checks.
