after his night with dorian gray ethan is triggered by memories of his traumatic childhood unable to deal with it he flees -- and plagued by his terrors he can't tell apart if he's still the frightened little boy or the grown up man. days later he is found by whoever the author pleases (the exception is dorian, though) in an awful condition (he is starved, dirty and behaves in a childlike manner)
eventually he is taken care of and manages to talk about what his father did to him for years. he isn't magically "healed" afterwards, but realizes that he isn't alone anymore.
bonus: •he created the wolf persona as a coping method (but that doesn't make the wolf any less real) •the author may refer to the sexual abuse as graphic as they want, but they shouldn't turn it into porn (please be sensitive and insightful about the matter) •no "gay panic" -- ethan is well aware of his sexuality
